Dexter Shoe Co. was founded in 1957 in Dexter ME. The company manufactured shoes in Maine until 2001 when all production was moved off-shore. The company now markets bowling, golf and street shoes. <br><br>Dexter Golf shoes hit the market in the mid-1960's and have been the favorites of Name Players for years.
